The exceptional performance and low maintenance is achieved via a range of design features resulting from years of research and development. The impeller is mounted on a large diameter pumps shaft with heavy duty bearing arrangement incorporating a roller bearing at the drive end and a heavy duty thrust bearing at the other. The reduced overhang between bearings and impeller means less shaft deflection and no problem with out of balance forces.
